Q: Do I have to do the online course all in one sitting, or can I do it in small increments?

A: You may do it any way you choose. One of the advantages of taking an online course is that you can learn at your own pace. A "course bookmark" on your home page will indicate where you left off so you can easily return.

Q: Do I need to always use the same computer?

A: No. Your username and password allows you to access your online course from any computer.

Q: I have an old computer. Can I take your online courses?

A: The version of your browser is more important than the age of your computer. For best results, we recommend Firefox 1.x as your Web browser.
Minimum Web Browser Requirements: Netscape 7.x, Internet Explorer 6.0 (PC), Mozilla 1.7, or Firefox 1.x.
For those using Internet Explorer 6.0: please check that your security settings are set to accept cookies.
For those using Windows XP who have Service Pack 2 installed: you must change your security settings to accept cookies and automatic popups.
For those on Mac OSX: use the Safari Web browser (it's installed by default with OSX).

Q: Can I skip around in the course and not follow a sequential order from start to finish?

A: Yes, you may skip around. However, information presented at the beginning is used throughout the course.

Q: I want to earn professional development units for this course. How will my administrator know I've finished the course?

A: Your administrator may check your completion of a course by accessing a Record of Completion. This report is generated after you have completed all of the course interactions.
