- Step 4: Concluding Activity (15 minutes) Review peer coaching concepts by completing a matching activity.
The Process of Peer Coaching (2-hours)
Delves into the three-part process of peer coaching. Additional information especially for administrators is provided throughout the course.
- Introduction (5 minutes) Review the three parts of the coaching process.
- Step 1: Preobservation Conference (30 minutes) Identify the four types of information gathered during the Preobservation Conference.
- Step 2: Observation (45 minutes) Find out how to use various data collection forms during the Observation.
- Step 3: Postobservation Conference (30 minutes) Understand the elements of an effective Postobservation Conference.
- Step 4: Concluding Activity (10 minutes) Identify the three parts of the coaching process.
