Performance Assessment and Evaluation, a division of Performance Learning Systems, helps organizations and schools evaluate their programs through the collection and analysis of pertinent data.
Our goal is threefold:
- define measures of optimal performance within the organization or program;
- identify areas needing improvement; and
- provide insight into the impacts that result from specified programs.

Evaluating Professional Development
The National Staff Development Council (NSDC) has published an article written by several members of the PLS community as their first publication on their new online, peer-reviewed Journal of Research in Professional Learning.
The article, entitled "Evaluating Professional Development: An Approach to Verifying Program Impact on Teachers and Students," was written by Steve Shaha, Valerie Lewis, Tammy O'Donnell, and Diana Brown.
