PLS courses may be taken as part of the master’s degree program or as open enrollment courses. These courses can be applied to permanent certification requirements through the Department of Education. PLS is an approved Act 48 provider.
Credit: All classes are 3 semester hours of graduate credit per course, unless otherwise noted.

This college requires a one-time registration fee of $25.
If this is your first Gannon graduate course, you must have an official (or a copy of an official) transcript from your undergraduate school with your degree and date conferred posted on it. Faxed and/or downloaded transcripts are not acceptable. The copies must be legible.
Note: All students enrolled in degree-seeking or certification programs at other schools should consult their advisors as to the transferability of credits. All PLS registrations require a mandatory non-refundable $50.00 deposit per enrollment. Deposits may be transferred to a new course enrollment being offered in the same semester. All payments will be refunded on cancelled classes*. Classes with enrollments below the minimum will be cancelled two (2) weeks prior to the start date.
*Tuition and any fees are due on or before the first day of class.

Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction
Gannon University offers a 36-hour, portfolio-based Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction program. Four PLS courses are embedded into the program. An off-campus cohort program allows students to complete a master’s degree in two years (continuous enrollment required).
Gannon University is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
