Equivalent courses at the University of St. Francis cannot be repeated for credit. It is the students responsibility to refer to the University catalog or website for a list of equivalent courses prior to registration. Click here to see a list of equivalent PLS courses.
Note: All students enrolled in degree-seeking or certification programs at other schools should consult their advisors as to the transferability of credits. All PLS registrations require a mandatory non-refundable $50.00 deposit per enrollment. Deposits may be transferred to a new course enrollment being offered in the same semester. All payments will be refunded on cancelled classes*. Classes with enrollments below the minimum will be cancelled two (2) weeks prior to the start date.
*Tuition and any fees are due on or before the first day of class.

Masters of Science in Education within the Teaching and Learning Program
Educators may elect to take a minimum of twelve/maximum of eighteen hours from Performance Learning Systems and an additional eighteen hours of core courses from the university to complete the thirty-six hour program. All credit is posted in semester hours. All PLS courses have been reviewed and approved by The University of St. Francis, College of Education. All courses within the masters program are described in full in the university catalog which can be located on the website www.stfrancis.edu. The courses are delineated by number assignment and the title of the course will be indicated on the transcript.
The Teaching and Learning masters program assists teachers and administrators by addressing the myriad of issues and needs which school communities face in a climate of evolving standards, curriculum change, school improvement, and strategic planning efforts. The purpose and intent of the program is to prepare educators to discover ways to improve the academic achievement of students and develop professional school leadership. All courses emphasize the integration of theory, research-based best practices, and meaningful applications.
This masters program can be brought to locations throughout the state.
