What I love most about teaching:
I love the challenge of being able to communicate ideas to a variety of people in a multitude of ways, picking and choosing just the right method for the right person. I love it when my teachers come in tired and often beaten down on a Friday night after a hard week of teaching, and then leave renewed and enthusiastic after a weekend of class.
My favorite moment in teaching:
A principal called me last semester to say that one of his best and more experienced teachers unfortunately had burned out and was planning to retire. However, after the teacher took the Successful Teaching for Acceptance of Responsibility® and Purposeful Learning Through Multiple Intelligences® classes, he came back filled with new ideas and enthusiasm and was talking about teaching for many more years. He said the PLS classes had taken years off the teacher's professional life and thanked me for my work. That's what PLS is all about!
