Why I love teaching PLS courses:
Education is a hard profession and requires that teachers keep up with current trends and sound strategies. Through PLS, I can expand my influence to hundreds more students than just the ones I have in my own classroom. Seeing teachers' eyes light up when they know that what PLS has to offer will help them, is just as gratifying to me as seeing my own students' eyes light up with new knowledge. PLS helped me to become a better teacher when I was a participant and I love sharing this information with others.

What I love most about teaching:
The times that I love in teaching are when a student that you had many "moons" ago sees you in the local Pizza Shop and comes over to your table to give you a hug! Wow, that always makes me feel that I had some influence on their life in a small way.
My favorite moment in teaching.
There are so many moments in each day of teaching that make you realize that you have a great job. A quote from one of my favorite books by Chick Moorman sums up how I feel about teaching the best, and if I may modify it with a different name, here it is…… "I never want my students to say that they had five years of art with Mrs. Rohrer, I want them to say I had five years of Mrs. Rohrer for art." Catch my drift?
