Why I love teaching PLS courses: PLS courses are meaningful! They provide a wonderful opportunity for teachers to share and learn from each other in a relaxed and energizing atmosphere.

• B.S. in Elementary Ed, Indiana University
• M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, Indiana Wesleyan University

Teaching experience:

• Elementary (3rd grade): 1 year
• Elementary (5th grade): 14 years

What I love most about teaching:

Nothing can be any better than watching a child become inspired.

My favorite moment in teaching:
I think some of my favorite moments are seeing my students later in life. Sometimes it is a simple, “Do you remember me?” Other times, it is when they remember a specific topic they learned or memorable event.

Personal information:
I have twin daughters and love spending time with them. My family enjoys the outdoors and anything involving water!
