What I love most about teaching:
enjoy providing creative and interesting lessons to my students. I love connecting with my students and developing a relationship based on mutual trust and respect.
My favorite moment in teaching:
Last year was my first year teaching 6th grade. I had a difficult time adjusting. By the end of the year I couldn’t imagine teaching any other grade level and I missed my first class so much that we had a reunion. Out of 24 students, 17 returned to visit me and their classmates!
Personal information:
I have a 9-month-old son. I love to bake, and make things with my hands (i.e. knit, sew, etc.)
