Achieving Student Outcomes Through Cooperative Learning®
In this course, participants will become proficient in the skills of setting up, monitoring, and debriefing group learning while teaching interpersonal skills. Participants will also discover how quick cooperative learning starters immediately involve students in specific learning tasks.
Behavioral, Academic, and Social Interventions for the Classroom™
In this course, participants will use the Solution Seeking Cycle and the Intervention Pyramid to design effective universal and targeted interventions for the classroom. With an emphasis on strengths-based learning, creating learning alliances, and designing REACH lessons, participants learn how to foster a climate of respect and responsibility that supports student resiliency.
Brain-Based Ways We Think and Learn®
After exploring and internalizing four basic thinking processes, participants will apply them to enriched lessons and classroom applications. The thinking processes are integrated into real-life applications.
Building Communication and Teamwork in the Classroom®
In this course, participants will reach a new level of positive communication with strategies necessary to foster an emotionally-engaging classroom where students are connected to school, learning, and one another.
Building Your Technology Education and Skills®
After learning how to use basic computer and related technology in the classroom, each person will have an opportunity to create motivational materials, manage classroom chores, use the Internet, and identify quality teacher and student software. (Additional fees may apply for this course.)
Classroom Management: Orchestrating a Community of Learners®
When students are empowered to take responsibility for their own learning experiences, educators are freed from constantly dealing with behavioral and organizational issues. By learning and practicing skills for orchestrating classroom life and learning so that instruction flows smoothly, student misbehavior is minimized, and learning potential is maximized.
Coaching Skills for Successful Teaching®
By developing the skills to build effective rapport among teaching colleagues, positive instructional change and enhanced self-esteem will result. Participants will learn a prescriptive process for communicating through a pre- and post-classroom observation.
Designing Motivation for All Learners®
In this course, participants will design learning experiences that successfully build motivation by reinforcing student effort and reducing student risk. The leadership and effective communication strategies taught in this course support confident, self-directed, and engaged learners.
Differentiated Instruction for Today's Classroom®
All students can thrive in today’s standards-based learning environment when their teachers know how to apply the practical and effective skills of differentiated instruction. This course offers key knowledge and skills to implement differentiated instruction successfully in their own classrooms.
Discovering the Power of Live-Event Learning®
Incorporating real-life experiences—live events—into teaching serves as a platform for integrating academic curriculum with important life skills. Participants will understand and practice the techniques of a facilitative leader while moving beyond simulations and hands-on learning to the concrete experience of Live-Event Learning™.
Learning to Read: Beginning Reading Instruction
Centered on scientific strategies aligned with state and national reading research initiatives, this course addresses implementation of a balanced, integrated approach to teaching beginning reading. These specially-designed curriculum resources and teaching strategies enhance the reading process across all areas of the curriculum.

Meaningful Activities to Generate Interesting Classrooms®
This course offers firsthand experience designing new and interesting activities that unlock the creative minds of students and teachers alike. Participants will discover dozens of interactive and engaging learning activities along with methods to assess their value. Educators can apply course strategies to all grade levels and teaching blocks.
Merging Educational Goals and Interactive Multimedia Projects®
In this course, participants will explore ways to incorporate multimedia projects into the classroom. As a result, students will be empowered to move beyond rote learning into problem solving, collaboration, researching, designing, testing, and communicating. Participants must have a working knowledge of PowerPoint before enrolling in this course. (Additional fees may apply for this course.)
Purposeful Learning Through Multiple Intelligences®
After acquiring an understanding of Howard Gardner’s intelligences, participants will experience the intelligences personally and create lesson plans that can be used immediately. Each person will learn to implement current school-wide reforms that serve to complement the intelligences.
Reaching Learners Through Their Intelligences
Participants will gain an overview of Howard Gardner's identification and understanding of multiple intelligences.
Reading to Learn: Comprehension Instruction
This course explores the best ways to help students construct meaning from what they read. Participants will examine scientifically-based comprehension strategies and learn how to adapt them to personal classrooms and/or content areas. They will assess student progress and learn how to adjust their teaching to become more effective. An interactive CD-ROM and other resources offer every participant the opportunity to achieve at higher levels in all subject areas.
Structured English Immersion (SEI) Training for Administrators
Supporting the Learning of English Language Learners equips administrators with the essential knowledge and skills to understand how to support the implementation of strategies and instruction that meets the individual needs of English Language Learners. Participants will engage in interactive, hands-on activities and experiences focusing on creating a culture of change through coaching educators in best practices.

Successful Teaching for Acceptance of Responsibility®
Participants will gain new techniques to model, teach, and support responsible student behavior while creating a classroom that fosters personal power and self-responsible behaviors. This course also examines ways teachers can expand their own personal power by encouraging appropriate behavior and empowering students to make good decisions.
Teaching the Skills of the 21st Century®
This course focuses on incorporating real-life skills while teaching curriculum to prepare students for their occupations and lives. Participants will develop a vision for change and explore innovative approaches to teaching. Computer access is needed to do assignments outside of class.
Teaching Through Learning Channels®
After exploring learning preferences, participants will develop brain-compatible strategies to address them through multisensory teaching. This course also covers how educators can incorporate a variety of brain-compatible techniques that address students’ basic motivational needs.
