Wayne Zako

Wayne Zako travels throughout the U.S. and Canada training teachers and administrators in how to make the classroom experience more rewarding for both students and teachers. He has trained over 15 thousand teachers in how people learn and what can be done to create a more natural learning environment. He believes strongly in contextual learning.

Wayne received his master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from South Dakota State University. His undergraduate degree included a minor in computer programming. Wayne has maintained his interest in computers and developed a workshop for educators on designing lessons on the Web. It's a great session to familiarize teachers with the power of the Internet to enhance their teaching and come away from the session with ready-to-use lesson plans.

Wayne also conducts training in the areas of critical thinking, conflict resolution, distance learning, proactive leadership, integrating the SCANS skills into the curriculum, and team building using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®. Throughout all of his programs, you find a common trait: "Everyone deserves to be successful at school, work, and in relationships. Miracles happen when people feel successful and worthy."
