About Christian Brothers University

Christian Brothers University is renowned and respected for its distinctive, vibrant, and vigorous educational programs. Its academic-intensive education programs, accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), graduate well-qualified teachers ready for today’s classrooms. CBU is approved by the State Department of Education of Tennessee as a teacher training institution, and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association and the Tennessee Association of Colleges. CBU is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the Bachelor’s Degree and the Master’s Degree.

Registration Information

Credit: All classes are 3 semester hours of graduate credit per course, unless otherwise noted.

Note: All students enrolled in degree-seeking or certification programs at other schools should consult their advisors as to the transferability of credits. All PLS registrations require a mandatory non-refundable $50.00 deposit per enrollment. Deposits may be transferred to a new course enrollment being offered in the same semester, otherwise, deposits are nonrefundable. All payments will be refunded on cancelled classes*. Classes with enrollments below the minimum will be cancelled two (2) weeks prior to the start date.
Christian Brothers University requires a one-time application to be completed along with the submission of official transcripts from each university attended. This application may be completed AFTER registering for an upcoming course through Performance Learning Systems.

*Tuition and any fees are due on or before the first day of class.

Note: Registration for online classes closes at 8:00 a.m. EST one week prior to the class start date.
