My Favorite Teaching Moment

I like knowing that I have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the life of a child or an adult learner. I feel that as I teach, I am also learning a great deal from those whom I teach. One of my favorite teaching moments happened while I was doing journal writing with my third graders and the topic was, What do you want to be when you grow up? I was so happy that evening when I read their responses and discovered that seven of them had written that they wanted to become teachers because they felt that it is the most important job there is.
