My Favorite Teaching Moment
In our profession no two days are ever alike. The one constant that we get is that we have the opportunity to touch the future every day. What an extreme honor that is.
Some of my favorite moments in education have been talking to former students five, ten, or twenty years later. It always makse me feel good when they remember things we did in class or they tell me they miss being a part of my class. I had a second grader the other day tell me, "your class doesn't suck at all." How can you top that?
Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses
PLS courses are the "heart and soul" of education. I love that while taking and teaching PLS courses I can immediately bring things into my own classroom and use them right away. Also, while teaching PLS courses I get the opportunity to meet the best, brightest, and most friendly teachers in the profession. There are some teachers I have had in various classes 6-8 times, so the classes seem more like a family reunion than an actual class.
