My Favorite Teaching Moment

By far, I enjoy the students more than anything about teaching—they are the reason why I am here. Furthermore, I do not consider teaching to be a job—instead, it is simply what I love doing and have so much fun with on a daily basis. I feel very fortunate to be a teacher!

All of the successes! I regularly have students come back to my classroom to visit me after they have graduated. I just love it when a former student comes back and tells my current students in class that they had better pay attention, because otherwise they will be missing out on some important lessons that they will need later on in life.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

The bottom line is that PLS classes are so PRACTICAL! I enjoy helping PLS provide teachers with preparation in HOW to best teach our students. I love sharing the PLS program and mission with fellow educators. I also love being able to learn and grow with a community of other learners/educators. PLS works hard to stay current with the latest research in education, and I enjoy learning from and sharing these benefits with other educators, so that we may all return to our classrooms better equipped with new knowledge in order to meet our most important goal—to best serve the needs of our students.
