My Favorite Teaching Moment

I enjoy the everyday interaction with my students. My goal is to get my students excited about science. I have my students do many hands on activities. Many students come back years later to tell me how much they loved my class.

I have my students play a game called “Ship-Island”. This game has students getting up and forming groups in an interactive way. It also allows a brain break so they can expend some energy. When we are finished they are in new groups and refocused.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

These courses are amazing at providing activities and instruction that can be utilized in a teacher’s lesson plan the very next day. These changes are so small but one small change can make an amazing difference in the classes that you teach.
