My Favorite Teaching Moment
I love teaching because I love to see the look on a student’s face when the lightbulb goes on and the “Aha” moment occurs. Every year I take my students to Cape Cod; we all wait impatiently for the trip and then it goes by so quickly. The pure joy on their faces and the shrill of their voices when they see a whale for the first time is always worth the wait.

About Me:
On a personal note, I am the father of two very energetic boys. I am also an avid naturalist and whale watcher, photographer, snake breeder, and fossil collector. I coach baseball, basketball, and ice hockey. I met my wife, a paleontologist, in a Gypsum mine in Milford, Nova Scotia, while digging up a Mastodon. As a cochairman of Downingtown Middle School fund-raising events, I have helped raise over $140,000 in the past 12 years.
