My Favorite Teaching Moment

I love connecting with the learners and making them feel important, valued, and appreciated. Every one has something to contribute to this world, and I enjoy coaxing those contributions out of my most reluctant students.

By far, my most memorable teaching moment was when I took 70 students and parents to New York City for the day to participate in a musical theater workshop. We enjoyed lunch at Planet Hollywood and saw a Broadway show. Our hard work fundraising, learning the stones, etc., paid off. It was a magical day!
