My Favorite Teaching Moment

I love the look on a student's face when they suddenly understand a concept or idea. It brightens my day to know that they really do understand. There have been many defining moments in my teaching career. I fondly remember a student who was having trouble in a junior English class. He stayed after class and offered me a wrapped gift that included a plaque about angels who had touched his life. He said it was especially for me, because he knew I was having chemotherapy the next day.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

I feel that PLS courses provide the strategies that are most successful in the classroom of diverse learners. Also teachers are able to share the most effective methods that they use in the classroom. Everyone learns from everyone else.
