My Favorite Teaching Moment

A few years back, I had a fourth-grade boy who was one tough cookie! He came to me with such a chip on his shoulder and was way too cool for school. Sadly, he didn’t have much support at home. He lacked confidence and acted out as a result. I made it my mission to connect with this student. By investing time in building a positive relationship with him, I was able to really turn him around. By the end of the year, he had made the honor roll! Finding success with at-risk students, such as this one, is among the most rewarding experiences for me.

Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses

While teaching certainly has its share of trials and tribulations, I most enjoy knowing that my influence, no matter how insignificant it may have seemed at the time, has had a major impact on a child’s life. PLS courses are so relevant to today’s teachers! The content is applicable and intriguing. Activities and lessons can be brought right back for classroom implementation.
