My Favorite Teaching Moment
My most recent favorite moment in teaching took place when I was substituting in a former high school student’s second-grade classroom. One little girl told me that she did not do math with the class, because she could not do math. When math time came I started working with her and the more we worked the most she understood. The look on her face as the realization came that she could do math was one of those “golden” teacher’s moments that will long be remembered.
Why I Love Teaching PLS Courses
Our courses are relevant and can be immediately put into use in teachers’ classrooms. It is extremely rewarding to receive phone calls, emails, or notes from participants who cannot wait to share their personal PLS successes.

About Me:
I am a retired high school educator and a grandma to five children (ages 5 to 13). Retirement means being able to choose what makes my day. I appreciate and enjoy being able to spend more time with my grandchildren and volunteer in my community and in my church on a regular basis.
I am a regular presenter of motivational, new teacher, and Leadership Greater Galesburg workshops. I love to volunteer in my church as the Young Adult Sunday School teacher.
