Graduate Course Description
Purposeful Learning Through Multiple Intelligences® Online
Overview
Purposeful Learning Through Multiple Intelligences® is a Performance Learning Systems® online course that focuses on helping educators identify and apply the multiple intelligences (MI) to meet the needs of today’s diverse classrooms. Based on Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple IntelligenceTM, participants will demonstrate the power of teaching and learning through this unique instructional process. Participants will explore other theories of intelligence, MI subcapacities, and their own MI profiles.
"I was amazed at how quickly I became comfortable and confident using the computer. This was really a convenient way for me to earn credit. I was so excited about the materials in this course, that I decided to teach an 'academy course' on integrating multiple intelligences into the classroom in our district . I cannot wait to share what I have learned and how much it has improved my teaching with other teachers. I really enjoyed the computer-friendliness of this course... it was easy to use! I am also now more capable of understanding what the intelligences are and how to adapt to suit the needs of each of them."
