Building Communication and Teamwork in the Classroom®
Overview
(Formerly titled Leadership Teaching or Project TEACH)
How can classroom teachers reach a new level of positive communication? Discover strategies to foster an emotionally-engaging classroom where students are connected to school, learning, and one another. Specific strategies are provided in the following areas: teacher leadership, communication and listening, positive thinking and support, and and classroom team building activities.
- Master effective communication skills in the classroom.
- Establish a positive learning community with teacher leadership.
- Avert teacher-student confrontations.

Target Audience: All K-16 educators
Graduate Credit: 3 semester hours or 4.5 quarter hours
Note: Students who have taken the course Leadership Teaching cannot register for this course.
Note: Students who have taken the course Project TEACH may not be able to take this course for credit. Please call for information 1-866-PLS-CLAS (1-866-757-2527).
